Structuring welding management
Before the implementation of the SIRFULL solution for welding quality, welding management at De Dietrich relied mainly on Office files – Word and Excel. The De Dietrich teams turned to SIRFULL to provide a better framework for managing their welding activities, particularly with regard to standards and regulations.
With around 80 welders to keep track of, managing qualifications was a major challenge. Switching to the SIRFULL solution has simplified the process and the renewal of qualifications, notably thanks to automatic alerts before expiry, which now replace a cumbersome, slow and error-prone Excel file.

A tool for everyday life
Since its deployment, the solution has become an integral part of the teams’ daily work. The modules most frequently used are those linked to the creation of WPS and the management of welder qualifications. Welding technician Léo saves precious time when creating WPS, where the software pre-fills ¾ of the information based on the PQR.
“The software is very convenient for creating WPS. It’s much easier than managing everything with the Office suite. The PQRs are already entered in the software, so we just have to modify 2-3 variables.”
The use of SIRFULL’s Welding solution also enables De Dietrich’s teams to comply fully with the requirements of the ASME Stamp standard, for which the company is certified. The software incorporates all the variables defined by ASME, ensuring that qualifications are drawn up in compliance with the standard, and avoiding any omissions or errors.
Constantly listening to needs
The De Dietrich teams praised the responsiveness of SIRFULL support. Technical questions are dealt with quickly, with answers usually provided within a day. SIRFULL also stands out for its ability to integrate user feedback.
