The 15th European Pressure Equipment Symposium, organized by TÜV SÜD, will take place on Tuesday July 1 and Wednesday July 2, 2025 in Fürstenfeldbruck, near Munich. The event will bring together experts, manufacturers and operators to discuss the application of pressure equipment regulations, and to provide help and advice in their implementation.
Who is TÜV?
An expert in quality and safety, TÜV (Technischer Überwachungsverein – Technical Inspection Association) supports manufacturers in meeting compliance requirements. It certifies them to national and international standards.
The symposium program will focus on :
- current changes in standards and regulations for pressure equipment manufacturers
- cybersecurity requirements for plant construction and operation
- guaranteeing process safety
- optimizing testing and monitoring of pressure equipment
- the regulatory challenges of hydrogen in plant and equipment engineering
The detailed symposium program is available online on the TÜV SÜD website. You’ll find details of conferences and speakers, including SIRFULL.
AI and intelligent monitoring of pressure equipment
Stéphane Torrens, inspection expert at SIRFULL, will be speaking on Wednesday July 2 at 10am. He will present how the use ofartificial intelligence can optimize pressure equipment monitoring.
Thanks to AI, manufacturers can detect anomalies earlier, anticipate failures and reduce unscheduled downtime. By providing in-depth analysis of equipment status, it enhances safety, while improving operational efficiency.
This symposium is a unique opportunity to keep abreast of the latest regulatory and technological developments in the field of pressure equipment, and to share experiences with industry professionals. We look forward to seeing you there!
