Jean-Claude, the visionary

Chairman of SIRFULL and Research Director

“I began my career as a maintenance mechanic in industry 50 years ago. I then continued my training through evening classes, specializing in materials, welding and regulations, until I became an engineer and SIR (Recognised Inspection Service) manager for an industrial group. This enabled me to acquire extensive knowledge of welding and industrial equipment, and to raise an important issue. After seeing the state of digitization in the field of welding quality and the tools designed to guarantee industrial safety, I decided to found SIRFULL.”

Your profession in a few words?

“My profession lies in the development of SIRFULL in France and Europe as President. I also take care of our product development and integrated innovations under the hat of Research Director.”

What are your main day-to-day responsibilities?

“In addition to my role as President, I oversee product development in collaboration with the functional and technical teams. I strive to integrate innovation into our products, in particular by exploring the addition of artificial intelligence, an ambitious challenge I take up within the company.”

“A software and network development engineer, I began my career in the automotive and then petrochemical industries. I then specialized in the digitalization of industrial safety, particularly in inspection. This adventure led me to implement an industrial equipment monitoring solution at major petrochemical sites in France. Today, I’m continuing the adventure by turning my attention to the construction side of this equipment.”

Your profession in a few words?

“My profession consists of digitizing the needs of manufacturers and constructors and transforming them into software solutions.”

What are your main day-to-day responsibilities?

“My missions consist of gathering, analyzing and formalizing end-user requirements. I also carry out a technology watch by taking part in various business events and taking an interest in new tools that exist or are emerging. In short, I have to ensure a link between business expectations, the vision of the global ecosystem and technical capabilities.”

Maxime, the craftsman of customer satisfaction

Welding Cloud Product Manager

After a Master’s degree in Solid State Chemistry and Materials Science, I chose to move into IT, starting out as a developer in an ESN. I then moved on to the role of functional analyst, where I liaised between business needs and technical teams on different applications. It was then at SIRFULL that I was able to return to a field close to my initial training. Today, as IT product manager, I’m involved in the design and monitoring of our application dedicated to welding quality.

Your profession in a few words?

“My job as IT product manager is to understand and analyze our customers’ needs, design the product that will meet their expectations, monitor development in collaboration with the technical team, and finally take part in its commercial launch.”

What are your main day-to-day responsibilities?

“I start by framing and analyzing the needs of the market and our customers, to ensure that our solutions meet their expectations. Next, I write functional specifications, in order to convey the business need to the technical team. Finally, thanks to a constant technical and business watch, I anticipate developments to prepare solutions adapted to future needs.”

“I come from a technical background in general mechanics and industrial design. After 10 years in a design office and site supervision, followed by 15 as an inspector of pressurized equipment (UIC2), I believe that the evolution of our professions must be based on all the new technologies, while finding intelligent, harmonious and reasoned associations with people. That’s why I don’t see IT as an end in itself. It’s a tool like any other, but because it’s omnipresent in our society, it can’t be ignored. ”

Your profession in a few words?

“I interact with sales, marketing, deployment and customers to make this ecosystem with very heterogeneous needs, constraints, skills, … more homogeneous.”

What are your main day-to-day responsibilities?

“On a daily basis, I support customers in the use of our solutions, responding to their needs and suggesting appropriate improvements or innovations. I help them in their transition to our new inspection solution and collaborate with the IT team to develop new functionalities, while keeping abreast of technological and regulatory developments.”

Throughout my experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to work within various industries, which has enabled me to develop an understanding of industrial environments.”

Your profession in a few words?

“As head of software testing, I ensure the quality and reliability of the solutions we develop, making it a point of honor to meet our customers’ expectations and industry requirements.”

What are your main day-to-day responsibilities?

“On a daily basis, I design and run test scenarios. I detect and document anomalies, then work with the development teams to correct them. I also make sure that the software is running smoothly overall, anticipating potential problems for end-users. My main objective is to ensure that the software is robust, high-performance and fully compliant with expectations.”
