Who is Allia France?
With more than 40 years’ experience in industrial plant engineering, ALLIA (formerly CMI Entreprise until 2014) designs, manufactures and installs equipment and production units for the treatment of gases, liquid and pasty fluids.
Specializing in the transformation of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and noble materials, the company combines know-how in the field with advanced engineering.
ALLIA is certified ISO 9001, ASME Stamp U, Gost-R, MASE-UIC and qualified by major customers in demanding sectors such as chemicals, thermal and renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and nuclear power.
The company has 8 welders and around 40 welder qualifications.
The need to centralize welding data
Before using SIRFULL’s welding quality solution, ALLIA’s welding management was based on several independent Word and Excel files.

With so many files to manage, Welding software enables them to gain in efficiency thanks to a single platform.
After being trained by the SIRFULL teams, Kévin, Welding Quality & NDT Manager, and Guillaume, IWE Quality Coordinator, were quickly able to train other in-house users. Roles were organized with a clear division of uses: coordinators use all the solution’s modules, while welders and inspectors concentrate mainly on monitoring and preparing production.
The solution is now part of our teams’ daily routine.
The benefits
Among the major benefits of Welding identified by the ALLIA teams are the reuse of WPS from one project to another, and production tracking.
“In terms of benefits, there’s the table aspect and production tracking. This is important, and something we couldn’t see before with an Excel file. Finally, carrying out an action on a line has repercussions on the whole business, in terms of monitoring, traceability, statistics, etc. This is a major strength of the system. It’s a big plus that everything is centralized. “
