Welding Cloud was built using Microsoft technologies and is hosted in secure data centers managed by Microsoft Azure in Europe. Data and production environments are backed up every night to a second Microsoft Azure data center also located in Europe.

Microsoft is the industry leader in establishing and consistently adhering to precise security and privacy requirements. Azure meets a broad set of international compliance standards and industry-specific standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1 and SOC 2, as well as country-specific standards such as the Australian IRAP standard, the UK G-Cloud standard, and the Singapore MTCS standard. Third-party audits, such as those conducted by the British Standards Institute, verify that Azure meets the strict security controls these standards require.
